• Account data — name, email address, and password when you create an account or sign in with Google.
• Location data — latitude and longitude you enter during onboarding so we can calculate planetary-hour schedules for your location.
• Tasks & preferences — any tasks, notes, or schedule preferences you save within the app.

Information collected automatically

• Log data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps.
• Cookies — session cookies required for authentication and a small number of functional cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and improve the user-facing features of the Service.
• To authenticate your identity and maintain your session.
• To compute location-specific planetary-hour schedules.
• To send transactional emails (welcome, email verification, security alerts) — never marketing spam.
• To respond to support requests.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers — trusted hosting, database, and email-delivery partners that process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality obligations.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Google User Data

If you use “Continue with Google,” we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password. Google’s use of your data is governed by their own Privacy Policy.

If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, we request access to your Google Calendar solely to add, view, and manage the planetary-hour events and reminders you create within the Service. We access this data only to provide and improve these user-facing scheduling features at your direction.

Kabbalistic Cycles’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other application will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we affirm that:

• We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features described above.
• We do not transfer or sell Google user data for advertising, marketing, or any other purpose.
• We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements.
• We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless you give explicit consent for specific data, it is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), to comply with applicable law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

AI/ML disclosure. Our scheduling advisor is powered by a third-party AI service (Abacus AI’s RouteLLM API) used solely to generate conversational responses for user-facing features. Calendar operations are performed server-side through the Google Calendar API directly — not through the AI model. The AI receives only the minimal metadata needed to confirm an action you requested (for example, that an event was created and its identifier); it does not receive your raw calendar contents, profile data, or account information. We do not use, transfer, or sell Google user data — raw, aggregated, or derived — to create, train, or improve any foundational or generalized AI/ML model, and Google user data is never shared with the AI provider for training or any other secondary purpose.

You can revoke our access to your Google Calendar at any time from your Google Account permissions page, or by disconnecting Google Calendar within the app’s settings.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn we have, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
